Greg McGowan is a Director at Mountain Philanthropies, a philanthropic initiative promoting equity and justice, environmental sustainability, and inclusive democracy. He supports new program development spanning criminal justice reform, climate, voting rights, women’s justice, accountability, and refugee rights.
Prior to joining Mountain Philanthropies in November 2017, Greg spent four years at Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), a global strategic advisory firm. At ASG, Greg supported the Managing Partner, while also helping to establish a business line in Social Impact and serving clients in the philanthropic sector. Greg holds an M.A. in Middle East studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University, and a B.A. in European studies and Spanish from Vanderbilt University.
