Adam Halpern
Mr. Halpern is the Director of Business Management, Private Investments at The Baupost Group, LLC, a $28 billion registered investment advisor. His background includes more than 20 years of helping companies establish, manage, and evolve their global operating models and strategies. His work has supported rapid growth management, merger integration and global change initiatives across alternative investment firms, investment banks, Fortune 500 corporations, and venture-backed startups.
Prior to joining Baupost, he was the Global Head of Business Planning and Technology for the Investment Banking Division at Barclays, where he led merger integration activities, directing the development and implementation of the division’s management and information infrastructure across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He held a similar position with Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for leading global operational change initiatives. The foundation of his career was formed at Accenture, serving clients in the financial services, media & entertainment, technology and energy industries.
